Chaos
My mind seldom seems to rest. I ponder, meditate, dream, observe and digest. Though I am always alone inside my head, I'm seldom lonely. Swirling throughout the pandemonium of brain synapses are characters, scenery, ideas, analyses, stories, and memories. Most of these thoughts are pointless but some are worthy of attention and from these I am able to create coherency from the confusion.
Elsewhere on this website I share these articulated thoughts through stories, journals, essays, and poetry. But not everything fits tidily. Chaos is a hodgepodge of mishmash, a home for things worth sharing but that didn't want to fit anyplace else.
I read a lot and set particularly high standards for what I feel is worth reading and sharing with others. Also, as part of my profession I work as a manuscript development coach, and judge literary contests. Therefore, if you want to know what I think about the books I read you can find out here, in Book Reviews. There are also Movie Reviews, though my only qualifications for critiquing them is that I watch a lot. I am quite passionate about politics, world affairs, and other issues but I seldom have time to write an entire essay on a particular subject. However, occasionally I still feel the need to spew so Rant provides the receptacle for these outbursts. Catchall functions as the container for everything else.
