Forum
The Outside The Boxx Forum is a cyber meeting place where we can all come together to visit, discuss topics of interest, explore ideas that we have in common, debate subjects we may or may not agree upon, and in a broader, somewhat ethereal sense, develop friendships with like-minded people. The Forum is an on-line roundtable for sharing ideas, dreams, concerns, and stories. My hope for this website and the Forum is that it offer a place where others who think, live, and dream outside the box can create a tribe. It can be lonely living beyond mainstream society; though few would sacrifice their uniqueness just to belong. Still, we are human beings and by nature we are homogeneous. Those of us who care more about the journey than the prizes, who might be considered eccentric, odd, or introverted, can hopefully find community in the Outside The Boxx Forum.
I believe everyone has something of interest to say, or write as the case may be. I don't feel I am necessarily any more fascinating than the next person; I've simply created this website to share my thoughts, art, travels, feelings, stories, beliefs, and so on, with you. In return, I want to get to know others who are visiting this site, and offer a space where everyone can interact in a non judgmental, loving, and open place. Hence, the Outside The Boxx Forum.
You wouldn't be spending time on this site if you didn't have a pretty strong interest in nature, travel, the environment, alternative spirituality, photography, story telling, the wilderness, a pioneer lifestyle, movies, books, food, or one of the other topics I feature on this site. I want to be a part of your lives just as you become part of mine by reading and interacting with me via this site. I am searching for a tribe and want us all to be a part of each other's lives, even if it can only be a congregation where we meet on the World Wide Web. Please take some time to share your thoughts on the discussion board. Interact with others by commenting on their comments, or start a subject thread of your own. Reveal yourself to me and others with your stories about living/being/dreaming Outside The Box.
As an added incentive to get the ball rolling on this new website and to encourage visitors to participate in discussion topics and/or submit their outside-the-box feature stories, I will give a free book of your choice to the first 44 people who become members of the Outside The Boxx Forum. Make your selection from nearly two dozen fiction and non-fiction titles sold on the Outside The Boxx Marketplace. Simply fill out the Forum membership form, participate in at least one activity in the Forum, and when I receive your application I'll notify you if you are one of the first 44. Also, I'll announce the cyber names of each of the 44 recipients.
