| In Norse and Celtic cultures, the smallest of the acorn was thought to embody the wholeness of life, fertility and imortality. Ancient Druids, who worshipped the Oak tree, believed that eating an acorn would gift them with the heavenly ability to see across time and into the future. Tradition holds that the bearer of an acorn wields an independent nature and possesses promises of fortune and prosperity in their destiny. This acorn graphite sculpture from A S Batle studio is a wonderful representation of the acorn. |
