A baboon raided the cabin next to us and tried to get into our room.  I scared him off but it scared me almost as much. Went for a 2-hour birding walk on the Groot River trail. Saw lots of Gnysna Lauries and monkeys. Checked out the surf but it is small. Decided to head for Jeffrey’s Bay and skip other attractions in the area.  It is a Friday night on a 4-day holiday weekend so we didn’t want to have trouble finding a room. Drove pretty hard to make it to J-Bay before dark. Very few hotels, the B & B that our friends in Wilderness recommended was sold out for the weekend.  After a zillions stops and phone calls we settled on a B & B, which is really more of an Inn with about 8 rooms.  Went to bed tired and grouchy.
