Graeme, Bob and I drove south to the beach in Scotburgh and though the wind and conditions weren’t great, the two guys did get a couple of hours of surfing in. It wasn’t a good place to take pictures so I walked around a bit then went for a swim in the ocean. It was a great set up for me and if we had brought my body board I could have gone out a ways and played in the waves with Bob and Graeme. As it was I really enjoyed the warm, clean, blue-green water. I had just settled in to some reading and sunning when we had to head back to Durban. Graeme wanted to make sure and spend some time with Kerstin and he had to pick Dillon up from a workshop he was taking. First, though, we went to lunch at a cool cafe, though Kerstin wasn’t able to join us until later. Back home we were making plans for the four of us to go to a party at some friend’s home but Bob and I were getting burned out on socializing. We just aren’t good partiers. Plus, I needed to get some work done and we plan to get up early in the morning so we need to get some sleep. Dillon left to go baby-sit, Graeme and Kerstin left to go party, Bob and I stayed home, chilled out and went to bed shortly after 9 PM.
