Wind was bad direction early but the swell’s still head-high to a little overhead. Around 10 am the wind switched offshore so I hit it. Unfortunately within a half hour so did everyone else. Waves were clean and fun but it was too crowded and somewhat inconsistent. I didn’t get much and as the waves got even less consistent I gave up.

Went back out for a one-hour session in the afternoon. It was only about shoulder-high and a little bumpy but only one other guy out so I got lots of waves. Not great stuff but worthwhile. Definitely would have surfed it in Oregon and been stoked.
