Got back to jbay in time for an evening sesh. Wind was blowing stiff perfect offshore. Some good overhead sets but not enough of them. Paddled straight out and into the best wave of the trip so far. A little overhead and groomed perfect. Rode it from the outside peak all the way through supertubes. Got a few more before dark. Some bigger and more lined up sets started coming through the last 15 minutes. I tried to follow a guy who looked like he knew what he was doing as he headed in through the inside keyhole through the reef. He caught a wave and rode right into it so I lost him and had to look around in the near-dark for the slot. The guy was already on the sand and he pointed the way and got me headed in the right direction. Very cool of him.

WAM looks promising for Wednesday on. Looks like it could get big.
